In times of uncertainty, change, or renewal we call upon reflection. Chuang Tzu (c.360 BC – c. 275 BC) said “The sound of water says what I think”; echoed in the piece I have created. Soft beige and brown tones are that of the earth, and as her hair falls to meet the water, she calls for her thoughts to be grounded and clear; bringing thoughts and emotion to one. The lines of her hair are like her many lines of thought, and they fall away gently to reveal her reflection and liberate her true self. firstname.lastname@example.org
